Giusti Software supports Fontanafredda with Nikè technology

In the wine sector, since 2020 we have been technological partners of a prestigious company such as Fontanafredda.
Fontanafredda is one of the most important private producers of Barolo and of the great wines of the Langhe in Serralunga d’Alba. Born in 1858 from the love story between the King of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II and Rosa Vercellana, today Fontanafredda promotes a new “Green Renaissance” under the guidance of Oscar Farinetti, focusing on the value of the land and environmental sustainability.
It is a company rich in history, with an artisan mentality but constantly projected into the future, with numbers worthy of a large company: 120 hectares of certified organic vineyards, 5,000,000 kg of grapes pressed per year, exports to 61 countries around the world , 5 different Barolo crus, 2,500,000 bottles of Barolo for aging, 170 collaborators, 285 suppliers.
In short, a complex organisation, which also at the level of the commercial area requires impeccable, structured and effective administration.


The challenge: make the customer experience memorable

The collaboration between Giusti Software and Fontanafredda was born from a challenge; that of optimizing and simplifying the complex management of the internal and external commercial area.

Fontanafredda did not present any particular problems in the field of order collection but – as happens for any fast-growing company projected towards continuous improvement – it felt the need to offer new strategic services to enhance and facilitate the already good relationship/interaction with the clientele.

The proposed solution: an SFA commercial development and sales project

The computerization of the commercial reality has been tackled at 360° from the management of the sales area, understood as the sales force on the territory, to the agents, up to the B2B opportunity, in order to give access to new customers and offer existing customers the convenience of always having open contact with Fontanafredda. Together with our technicians we have analyzed the corporate reality of Fontanafredda with its needs and implemented a stimulating and innovative project.

General requests were resolved quickly, simply by offering the wide range of features present in our GiustiSuite apps.

For more specific requests, however, a series of implementations and modifications to the basic version of GiustiSuite have been developed, tailoring them to the customer.


GiustiSuite at the service of the commercial area: new sales opportunities with specialized apps

Currently the entire commercial area of Fontanafredda is managed using the following applications: GiustiSuite, GiustiSFA Sell, GiustiBOS, GiustiSFA Mobile, on the two Android/iOS platforms. In particular:

  • With the GiustiSFA Sell and GiustiSFA Mobile apps: Nike has become the hub of company order management and the related commission calculation system. With these software solutions, Fontanafredda acquires, modifies and authorizes every sales order, even those sent to GiustiSuite which automatically transforms them into orders according to the standard defined for the customer. Not only that: in the event of any changes, the order – even if it has already been sent to the management system – is re-forwarded to GiustiSuite in order to be able to complete the requested operations.
  • With GiustiBOS: all the commercial specifications used by the customer are managed, such as price lists, commercial policies and discount plans.

Perfect integration: systems in dialogue for streamlined management

The GiustiSuite application suite has not only enhanced the functions offered by the management system in use at Fontanafredda but has even replaced it as regards logical-functional management in the commercial sphere.

The benefits deriving from the inclusion of GiustiSuite in the company do not end only at the level of technology and innovation at the service of users.

Many advantages are also played out “behind the scenes”.

Indeed, it is in the automated management of the data flow to and from Fontanafredda’s internal systems that the integration with Giusti Software has made a very important contribution, going into perfect dialogue with the ERP system.
