Management of expiring and expired products

The function provides for the acquisition, within a normal new purchase order, of the quantities relating to products that are about to expire or have already expired, objects of return.

Operation consists of simple steps:

  1. Cart of the new order, button [Ins. Expired].
  2. The research for products will insist only on those that fall within the indicated expiry date.
    Easy to acquire the return quantities for each selected product.


Transport costs are calculated by choosing between two methods:

  • Lump sum
  • Based on brackets of goods amount

The latter insist on: single customer, classification, province (or other parameter present)

For articles: single code, classifications.

In any case, it is possible to set thresholds for the validity of the application (e.g.: over €500 = free shipping).

The calculation mechanism can also be driven by commercial policies (promo).

To achieve greater application granularity, there are two options

Option A, integrate the following info:

  • Shipping lists, imported with the GiustiBOS platform;
  • Further information regarding the customer: disadvantaged area, ZTL, delivery to the floor, bank request.

Option B, integration with the G-Speed ​​system =, where the company maintains the shipping price lists and GiustiSuite, calling up a G-Speed ​​API, associates the right expense to the order according to the parameters entered and the cheapest forwarder.

Promotions: objectives according to sales unit

Our management and application of PROMOs can generate an almost infinite number of commercial combinations, including those where the established objective has the units of measurement and/or the benefits associated with the logistic discount among the target specifications.

During the order line entry phase, the promotions that can be used automatically or intentionally have the purpose of applying the rules and benefits provided by the company.

The promotion consists of four parts:

  • header: which contains the identifying elements of the promo (code, description, notes), period of validity, promo type.
  • brackets: which indicate the objectives, expressed in quantity or value that must be achieved in order for the expected benefits to be applied.
  • beneficiary customers: these are the customers to whom the promotion is aimed. Individual customers or groups of customers identifiable through classifications can be indicated. It is easy to obtain an important number of customers from the selection, in this case it is possible to mark the exclusion of some of these from the list.
  • articles: the indication concerns those associated with the promotion, single articles or groupings can be accepted through classifications. any special conditions, benefits to be applied.. It is possible to specify the exclusion of articles.

Real-time availability

In the order acquisition phase, there is also the advantage of being able to consult the availability of a single product or all products at any time, whether these are listed, as a result of a selection or already acquired as order lines. The call can be manual, using the appropriate button and/or automatic when the list of items is loaded, before order confirmation.

In any case, the information is obtained from GiustiSuite through a call to the company management system, thus obtaining a reliable and photographed result at the moment of the request.

Commission plans

Powerful and flexible, the management, application and control functionality of the commission plans is a flagship of the GiustiSuite Apps. The structure was created to respond to even the most complex calculation and control needs, as often happens for companies that sell to large-scale distribution. Like many of the more complex and delicate features, this one too was designed and built in collaboration with some of our most important customers.


After sales

  • Order tracking: necessary for detailed delivery control, GiustiSuite provides for connection to the courier system.
  • Load plans: From the calculation of the volumes of the items in order, the number of pallets required can be obtained, so as to evaluate the most suitable means of delivery and the space in the warehouse that the customer must have to store the goods.
  • Delivery rounds: They are a specification of the rounds of visits to customers, in this case they allow you to organize direct deliveries by the company.
  • Empty management: If an article provides for the return of the empty space (e.g.: the drum) for each shipment made, the empty counter charged to the customer is updated. If not returned by a specific date, they are billed and discharged by GiustiSuite management.
  • Batch management and deadlines: both are managed in two ways: item availability and for perishable products, also indicating the expiration date.
